Our walks and chats around the Islands off Skibbereen were a test of our endurance to keep up with Charlie and Marie. Our chess game lasted into late hours & early morning such were his masterly abilities. A gentleman through and through, the gates of Heaven will be opened for Gentleman Charlie where the real King awaits his presence.

condolences to my sister Marie, Noel, Susan, Brian, David and family... fond memories of my trips to Dublin in the early '70s I think Charlie and myself must have played every pitch and putt course in South Dublin....the picnics he would put together on the side of the road coming back from the beach in Wexford great days.
