Deepest sympathy to Charlie's family. I knew him from Mass in Mc Kee barracks church. He was a true gentleman with a few words for everyone.

My sincere sympathy to all of Charlie's family. I got to know your Dad and your beloved mother Sheila when my son Henry & daughter-in-law Ciara moved in next door. They were both fantastic neighbours especially when Henry and Ciara were expecting their first baby. Charlie was always so good humoured and witty. I enjoyed the banter whenever we met. The loss of ones parents leaves a great void in ones life and I know how much you all will miss them both.
Once again my sincere condolences on Charlie's passing. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

It was always a pleasure for us to bump into Charlie . He always had a good word or a joke to lift you .He enriched our lives and the lives of all those his life touched we will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathy and condolence to all the members of Charlies family . rest in peace charlie.
On behalf of members, staff and everyone at Mount Pleasant LTC we offer our condolences to Charlie's family and friends.
For over 16 years Charlie worked tirelessly for us at Mount Pleasant to keep our tennis courts and grounds in top quality condition. Nothing was ever to much trouble for Charlie and he was always at hand to fix anything that was broken in the Club both inside and outside.
In particular for Open Week Charlie prided himself in showing off the Club and its’ grounds in all its glory including his much loved hanging baskets and the annual hanging of the flag bunting. Visiting players during open week always commented how beautiful Mount Pleasant was, and this was largely down to Charlie.
He will be dearly missed by all members and staff colleagues. R.I.P
