Joan, please accept my heartfelt condolences at the sudden death of your lovely mother. You must have got an awful shock. I’m so sorry that I wasn’t able to attend the funeral and I hope to see you soon.

Dear Joan and Jill, We were so sorry to hear of your beloved mam's sudden death. Charlotte was a wonderful & kind neighbour to us when we lived next door to her and your Dad Hamie in 1975. She kept in touch by letter every Christmas telling us all the news about her family, she was so proud of you all. Condolences to you and the extended family. May Charlotte now rest in peace.
