To Seamus, Jidenna and the rest of Chinnie’s family and loved ones, I’m so deeply sorry for the sudden passing of Chinnie. I worked with Chinnie at Regeneron in our Diversity and Inclusion program, Chinnie was an incredible advocate for diversity, she shared her own experiences as a first born daughter in an African family, and the responsibilities that came with that (we joked that, that’s where her excellent leadership skills had come from). She talked about how her younger siblings had fondly looked up to her when they were growing up.
When she came back from mat leave she was so eager to share in her joy the photos of baby JJ. She was warm and kind, above all an incredible person to have come across.

Chinnie, May your soul rest in eternal peace as you continue to watch over Seamus and Jidenna.
