My deepest condolences to Catherine, Deirdre, Diarmuid and Anna on the passing of your beloved Chris. I was shocked and saddened to have only seen it yesterday.
I worked with Colm many years ago on Floor 14, County hall and was very soon invited for regular dinners at their home in Cherrygrove, Model Farm Road. Chris thought me so much about gardening and flower arranging and I soon began going along with her to her weekly classes she held in Blarney. She was a great inspiration with her knowledge of nature and I always left Chris feeling enriched from our stroll in her beautiful garden in Ovens.
I am thinking of you all at this very difficult and sad time. Chris will remain a beacon of light in my life.

I'm so sorry to hear of Chris' passing . I have many happy childhood memories of the Model Farm Rd Fehily's. My memories of Chris are of a beautiful gentle soul who was always kind to me and I'm sure to all who had the pleasure of her company. I'm sure you all feel her loss deeply. Saddened to hear that Chris has passed away. I worked in Cork County Council with Colum and knew Chris for many years. I remember fondly the many great parties they hosted.
