I am saddened to hear of Chrissie's passing. I have lovely memories of her on the switchboard at Mayo General. Always pleasant, helpful and kind. A very stylish lady. Sincere sympathy to all of her family and friends.

Our deepest condolences to Corina, Paul, Claire, Shane, Chrissie's cherished grandchildren and her wider family & friends. We were deeply saddened to hear the news of Chrissies passing. We were lucky to spend time with Chrissie last August & November on her trips to Cork. She was such a beautiful soul and her kindness truly lives on in her children and grandchildren. Granny, Grandad, Kay & Dad always spoke so fondly of Pat & Chrissie and all the Galvins and their summer trips to Mayo. Rest in peace Chrissie.

I have such fond memories of Chrissie when she worked in Mayo University Hospital, including the many phone calls I received inviting me to sample one of her freshly made wonderful scones, in particular her cheese ones!
Chrissie was a true lady, who brought about and encouraged, a wonderful, comradery work culture within her department. She blew me away with her many stories of her time overseas in her younger years and spoke so fondly of her family.
Rest in peace Chrissie, you will be so fondly remembered.
