So very saddened to learn of the passing of my Aunty Chrissie. A pillar of strength and dignity, despite having to endure some of life's most difficult tempests during her life. An inner strength of humanity, kindness, good naturedness, wisdom and possessing a wonderful sense of humour, truly one of a kind.

I have many fond memories of her, but in particular, calling to my family home, along with my Aunties Molly and Helen, in the seventies after the death of my own dear Mum, a wonderful night etched in my memory as they set about "sorting" the house, they brought laughter and joy back to a very traumatised home.

My sincere condolences to my Uncle Martin, Martin, Caroline, Gary, Brian, her brother Tommy, extended family and friends.

I hope the cherished memories you hold of her in happier times can perhaps assuage some of your grief on your tremendous loss.

A gentle soul so full of strength
with kindness beaming from her face,
She travelled through life with quiet dignity
despite enduring life's adversities.

Her long life's journey done
So many lives she touched each one.
With every smile and every care
