Anne, Pat and families, I was so sad to hear of Ciss passing away. I only met her recently in town and we had such a great laugh. She laughed so heartily. I always came away feeling the better of having met her. Ciss was a wonderful woman. She had great stories and I think we all remember her time in the festival back stage looking after all the celebs with her cups of tea and sandwiches. Whether it was Gay Byrne, Brendan Grace or festival staff, she treated everyone the same and took no nonsense from anyone!! And while she was a tiny little thing, she had the biggest heart. It was a pleasure to have known Ciss and I will remember her often with fondness and gratitude. Rest in peace Ciss, you have certainly left your mark. My condolences to you all as you come to terms with this heartbreaking loss. Take care x
