I worked with Christina in Clarks. She was a lovely lady and I have very fond memories of many pleasant chats with her. She was so proud of all her family.

The thoughts and prayers of all in our Marist community are with the Hamill family on the sad passing of Christina. We are forever grateful for the generosity of her time during her many years of service on the Parents' Council. May Christina rest in eternal peace.

I used to meet this lovely lady while I walked through O'Hanlon park en route to my work in the town centre.

Although I only knew her to greet her on passing, I always noticed her lovely smile and friendly manner.

Lately I admired the crochet poncho that she was wearing and she was pleased and smiled ...now I'm glad I brought a smile to her lovely face with the positive comment 🙂

I was saddened when I read Christina's death notice and it struck me we that should always try to be pleasant to people we meet on the street, because we never know, our next meeting could be the last one.

Rest in peace Christina. I will visualise you pushing your trolley when I walk through O'Hanlon Park, where you walked on manys the day.

Sleep easy Christina now that your work on earth is done. 💕
