Sincere condolences to her loved ones. She was always Mrs Malone to us in SHS in the '80s, but Christina is a beautiful name.
I sometimes tell my colleagues in IT how she persuaded me to stick with higher-level maths to give myself the option of an engineering degree;
far-sighted advice that I've been grateful for, and it was before STEM was a thing for girls.

We are so sorry to have learned of Christina’s passing.
Christina was a true lady. Always pleasant, calm and kind. Modest, reserved and completely inoffensive, she served a lifetime in the Sacred Heart Secondary school with dignity, quiet diligence and efficiency as a maths teacher and for many years as Deputy Principal. Christina was a very approachable lady who was so generous with her time, help and advice. A gracious work colleague and friend who was respected by all who knew her. Now reunited with her lovely husband Paddy.
To Bernie, Seamus (and Sadie), Shane and the wider Malone and O’Malley families our deepest sympathies on your sad loss. Christina will be greatly missed by many.

I'm very sorry to learn of Mrs Malone's passing. She was a teacher we all loved and she treated everyone with respect and care. I'll always remember her fondly.

I have just heard the news of Christina's death RIP. She was such a gifted woman, and radiated calmness and joy as a colleague in SHS.
She was so supportive, very wise in her judgement. Christina was a great confidant and was loved by the whole school community.
Her late husband Paddy was the wind beneath her sails. She loved her children and was very proud of you.
You were a great role model for students and colleagues.
