Saw today, on Moycullen Matters, that Christina Faherty from Droma Bheag had died. I once shared a bench in Junior Infants with her, when Miss Martin was our teacher. Never forgot her, although we never met since primary school. Go dtuga Dia suaimhneas dá hanam uasal!

She was a member of our Edmund Rice Prayer Group. She always brought a bag full of freshly baked scones to our meetings. She also made a beautiful Christmas Cake for us every year. She and Matt were members of Knocknacarra Active Retirement Association. She was well known for her care of the sick. She brought comfort to so many with her Padre Pio glove. My parents and simetimes myself stayed in B and B in Knocknacara very often in the early 90s. Christina was a lovely gentle soul, and mam and Dad were very fond if her. I remember mam and I visiting you Matt and Christina in your new home in the late 90s. She made us feel so welcome , like old friends. I know she will get a deserved rewared in Heaven.
She will also be looking down on you and Aidan and family and steering you through the time ahead.
