I was so deeply sorry to hear the sad news of Tina's passing. I will always remember her as a lovely, warm person. I have great memories of the fun we had with her playing the guitar and singing songs—such wonderful nights of music and laughter with your whole welcoming family. We were so sad to hear of Tina's passing. She was a wonderful guitar teacher to our kids, Sarah and Jason. They went to Tina years ago for lessons but we would often think of her when passing her house or picking up the guitar at home.

Ulster University Gaelic Alumni are saddened to learn of the very sad passing of Tina Keyes (nee Herron) Tina was one of the founding members of the then Ulster Polytechnic camogie club in 1974 & was a stalwart driver of the game at Ulster’s newest academic establishment of the time. A double Purcell Cup winner, her love of the game & her ties to Ulster University were shown when she made the long trip from Limerick to Donegal to attend UU’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations of Gaelic games in Nov2023. A proud Derry Gael who never forgot her roots. We offer our sincere condolences to her loving husband Willie, daughters Anna and Eva, son Colm and the entire family circle. She has generously shared those talents with us in Euroville School at Concerts, Carol Singing,First Communions, Christenings etc. She has been a true friend to me since Miriam left us, incl Eugene & me in her own family gatherings always. May you now reap the just reward you deserve Tina.

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Tina's passing. My sincere condolences to Willie, Anna, Eva and Colm and Tina's extended family.

I have many fond memories of Tina throughout the years from singing at school & secretarial graduations, and christmas carols throughout my school years in St. Enda's and beyond. It was a privilege to return long after I'd left and still have Tina reach out to ask me to come back and sing.

Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of Tina.

I have such fond memories of my time at St. Enda’s, where Tina convinced me to join the basketball team—and later to travel with the team to Donegal, where we celebrated my 17th birthday. She also brought me and my friends on a school trip to France, which is where I first discovered my love for travel.
Even after I left school, Tina continued to keep in touch. While I was at university, she would send messages just to check in with genuine interest in how I was doing. She came to my university graduation, which meant so much to me.

When I moved to London, she kept in contact, and even now, living in Latvia, she still reached out to ask about my life, my wife, and my child—and to share stories of her own children and wonderful grandchildren.

I cannot express how humbled and grateful I am to have had such a beautiful woman in my life.
Tina's kindness, warmth, and genuine care left a lasting impact on me and so many others.
