Christine and I were at school together in Upton from a young age and remained in touch all of our lives. She was one month older than my sister Judith who died 23rd Dec 2016. Im so sorry to hear about Christine’s passing. I got to know her when she had her gallery in Henry Court and I had a shop across from her. We had great chats and these continued when I’d meet her in town on her many walks in the years that followed. As I write this in my sitting room I am looking at one of her lovely “wedding dress” paintings which she gifted to me. Sympathy to her children and all her family. She will be remembered always through her beautiful art.
