Very sad to hear of the passing of Chrissie RIP. She was a wonderful women who kept the irish dancing/ music tradition alive. She taught both myself and my daughter irish dancing.

The contribution that Chrissy has made to the community of Wicklow is absolutely enormous. Between the school of dancing and the Wicklow Pipe band, she has been involved in every parade that was held in Wicklow Town and surrounding areas for decades. Unassuming and humble, I don't think she ever realised how important she was to us all.Her sons Alan and Wayne, daughter Adele and husband John have also contributed so much to the town with their involvement in the pipe band. Having known Chrissy for so many years I can truly say that she was one of the most genuine people that I have ever known and always enjoyed her company.To my old friend Alan, Adele,Wayne and John, our sincere condolences to you all.
