I am so sad to hear of Christine's passing. I remember meeting her on my first day at Breastcheck in January 2020. She was such a bubbly character I knew straight away we'd have the laughs and the chats along the way. Then fast forward to Covid I was redeployed to CUH in March of that year. A few weeks in I was walking through the surgical day ward in CUH and I heard someone calling my name. When I turned around it was Christine calling my name from one of the beds. I remember we both got a great laugh because I got such a shock that someone knew me in CUH. Christine thought it was hilarious she had frightened the life out of me and the look on my face was priceless. We laughed since then about that day.
My sincere condolences to Vince, Killian, Darragh and all Christine's family. She always spoke with pure love and pride about Vince and the boys.
I will always hold Christine in high regard. She was a lady and always showed remarkable strength, bravery and character. She never complained and was always in great form. Amazing in every way. I will miss Christine in Breastcheck. I feel privileged to have met, known and worked with her.

I'm absolutely heartbroken writting this, My condolences to Christine's much loved family, Her Husband Vince, her adorable two boys Darragh and Killian. A mom in a Million Mary, her extended family, including all the aunts ,uncles ,cousins etc. whom Christine absolutely loved just as much as her kids. Christine was the nicest person who spoke highly of her family. A Fantastic Mother, she would always pop her head in the door when she was passing so the boys could say hi on their way to Nemo. Darragh got too big for his Lollipop, but Killian came along and took over that role. The kids are great for giving hugs which they got from their Mother. Christine would always ask how I was or my family but she would never moan about herself. She always asked about others. Christine always had a smile. A smile I will never forget. I will treasure that hug she gave me the end of November, I now hope Tom is hugging her tightly as they both watch over their family and give them strength to get through it. Christine was so looking forward to the milestones coming up over the next few months. May she be shinning down on her Boys. To Mary, Vince ,her two lovely well rared kids and all the extended family, I'm so sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace. 🙏 🕯

I am absolutely heartbroken and words can’t describe how hard it is to write this message. I’ve known Christine since we were young. Losing her feels surreal and the shock of it has left such a deep sadness in my heart.

We have the happiest memories of Crosshaven together. From walking down to the Merries, hanging out on the wall and even rainy days spent chatting in someone’s house. We spent every summers day together from
morning to midnight, if we were allowed!! Christine was such a water baby and we just spent all day swimming on Graball beach! Those memories are priceless to me now.

As life moved on, so did we, but we kept in touch. We celebrated birthdays, went to concerts and had a great trip in London.

Christine always had the warmest smile and the kindest soul. She was such a genuine and loving friend. I still can’t believe she’s gone, she will be missed more than words can ever say.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to her family, her husband Vincent, her precious sons Killian and Darragh, her mum Mary, and her brothers Gary and Conor. You are all in my thoughts constantly. I hope you can feel how loved she was, and how much she will always mean to all of us who were lucky enough to know her. Xxx

I was so saddened to hear of Christines passing. She was the first person who greeted me on my first day in Breastcheck 10 years ago and her kindness and good humour was always freely given to all of us.
Christine was so so proud of her family and would regularly bring her lovely boys in to see us at work if she was passing. She spoke of them with such love and pride every time we had lunch.
We held Christine in such high regard and it is a mark of her character that such sadness has been so apparent in all of us that were lucky enough to have known her.

To Christines family & close friends, I was so sad to hear of Christines passing, gone way too soon. I worked with her four almost 4 years. She was a cheerful, genuine & kind person. She treated everyone the same. That always struck me as being a special thing about Christine. I remember how happy and grateful herself & Vincent were on their wedding day. It was a very happy day and will always be remembered. Christines whole world looking in from the outside, was her family. She was so proud of you all, be sure of that. Despite her health challenges, she always had a smile on her face. An optimistic and special person, rest easy Christine. Your family will do you proud.
