I was in college on the music degree with Chris and he was the definition of a true gentleman. He convinced me to take the tin whistle class and I'm so glad I did. It ended up just being myself and Chris in the class for three years, him a professional whistle player and me an absolute beginner and he was always so encouraging and also so humble. I looked forward to that hour ever week. His passion for music was ever-present and he was always willing to help his fellow students. My deepest sympathies to all of Chris's family and friends who will no doubt miss him dearly.
