I'm so sorry to hear this. Christy was truly one of the kindest people you could meet, always offering a smile and a friendly chat to everyone.

He was always seen out and about with his grandchildren and his beloved dog, having fun and sharing moments with those around him, always smiling and talking to everyone.

I did not know him personally but we'd always have the chats about wire fox terriors whenever i bumped into him walking the dog around Stoneybatter. He was such a familair sight and always with a bunch of blondies in buggies or hanging off his bike. A true gent. One I wish i had known perosnally.

Christy was one of the first people we met when we moved into Montpelier Gardens. He was pushing one of his Grandchildren and I was pushing my son.
