Aunty Marie, Saundra, Lorraine, Paul, Jacqueline, Christopher, Keith & extended loving family. We send our deepest heartfelt Sympathy to you all. My childhood memories at Nana and Grandads, have memories of a full house, that I will always remember from the Card Games to the singing and uncle Christy shouting out " You start and we will all help you out " You just had to sing something, no getting away with it. Both my Dad and Uncle Christy with the Squeeze Box ready to assist. What treasures of memories I hold close to my heart. In later years my beloved Uncle made me coats and jackets as he did for Mum. Still have them, wear them, as they are beautiful Classics and now mean more to me than ever. He never wanted any payment, as this was the kind of man he was, most generous, thoughtful, kind and loving. Uncle Christy will be so missed by many for the impact he made on us all, with that smile, laughter & voice. Heaven now has a table of card players. I'm truly saddened to offer my sympathies to Aunty Marie, Saundra, Lorraine, Paul, Jacqueline, Christopher, Keith, and Aunty May and the extended family. Uncle Christy, or Chrisdor as dad/his brother Tommy called him, was my Godfather. I have many cherished memories of Uncle Christy, not least of which was receiving my first hurly stick. Christy was a great and much decorated hurler and hoped it might extend to me, unfortunately it didn't. I can only hope that I did pick up some other traits of the wonderful human being in Uncle Christy. May he rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to Aunty Marie, Lorraine, Saundra, Paul, Jacqueline, Christopher, Keith, Auntie May and the extended family at Uncle Christy's passing. A gentleman in every sense of the word, a talented musician and a master tailor. We treasure the christening robe Christy & Marie made for Richard and recall the beautiful white jackets he made for Kieron and his page boy Stephen for Kieron's wedding in 1985, not to mention dressing Paul and his band for their TV debut. They truly broke the mould when they made Uncle Christy. We picture him playing cards & shouting home winners in heaven, happily reunited with his predeceased brothers, sisters and parents, playing them a tune on the "squeeze box". His legacy lives on in our cherished memories and in his wonderful family.
