Our deepest condolences to the Hogan family on the death of Christy. We remember Christy and all the Hogan family in St Anne’s back in the late 50s. We were neighbours who also lived in the estate back then.
We had many happy days in the Hogan’s house back in those days with our father Dick, listening to football matches on the radio, and playing football with Tommy and Tony outside. We were always welcome by all, but particularly by Patty who kept the family together.
Christy’s father Bill was the conductor on the 30 bus and we often got off without paying when he was the conductor.
Its a long time ago, but those days are still in our happy childhood memories.
