Sincerest condolences on the passing of Christy. I live on Belmont Avenue. He greeted me with great cheer everyday and it was lovely to see him welcome the children to school - he knew most of the kids by name and it made their day giving him the high five. He gave all the kids a bright start to the day. May he rest in peace.

I was very sorry to hear that Christy had passed away. We have such fond memories of him from my daughter's time at St Mary's national school. The children all loved him, and he was always so kind and cheerful, an absolute gentleman with a word and a smile for everyone. My condolences to his family.
