Friday mornings in the restaurant will never be the same. Christy would arrive after his work at the Men's Shed - always a pleasure to see, always ready for a chat and a laugh. He would fill us in on his week and we would all smile when his eyes would sparkle as his beloved wife, Katrina , arrived with her hair beautifully done.
Christy's kindness, generousity and good humour touched everyone here.

We will miss him dearly.

So so sorry to hear this sad news. I knew Christy firstly as a parent in St Joseph’s NS. He was totally dedicated and devoted to his lovely girls, Karen and Nicola. Such a willing, cheerful and hard-working member of our school community and many other local groups too. Always ready for a chat - loved meeting himself and Katrina after mass or on the town. I always felt good after meeting them. My heart goes out to you all. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy is positive and enormous. May he rest in peace.
