To all of Christy's family I give you my sincere condolences. I have only today, 19th March, been told of Christy's passing. I know you will all miss him so much. A kinder, more generous, welcoming man I have yet to meet and most likely never will. Have a punt up there with those who have left us Christy. My Derek will be there with you. RIP x

Deepest sympathy to Nicola, Colm and family on the passing of your beloved father.
I remember Christy with great fondness, the sort of person that would always lift your spirits with his infectious sense of fun. He was really kind to my Mum and Dad, always there when there was a burst pipe or leak, and also came to have a look at my house before I bought it. Sincere condolences to all of Christy's family. May he Rest in Peace.
To our Dear friend Christy I sadly say fairwell.
A joint of a man with a heart of gold.
We were all racing pals in Tony and Marias great Racing Club and we were escorted in 5star comfort and exuberant company around the best racources of every continent of the world.
My abiding memory on our trips was been in Dublin Airport Departure Queues and we would spot Christy n the georgus Audrey hurtling along with beaming smiles and so would begin, the fun and games of the many wonderful racing trips we shared together.
Christys zest for living knew no bounds, his wisdom wit and conversation was a joy to be around.
The 5star oncourse treatment experience rolled out on the many trips, by our hero Tony Reilly made our racing trips the stuff of top drawer.
Christy always applauded class and style and boy did we all feel like gentry amongst the "Sport of Kings" ...such a privilage to be in the company of a true gentleman like Christy and have lots treasured memories to keep.
To Christys adored and cherished family, your Dads pals in the Racing club feel such sadness for your loss of your wonderful Dad and
and Grandad Christy who now rest with his beloved Audrey.
With great affection.
Margaret O.Reilly

Christy and Audrey were wonderful godparents to me over the years and a source of great encouragement and unwavering support through good times and bad. Christy’s astonishing appetite for life and capacity for regeneration even after the loss of his beloved Audrey and lifelong business partner and brother Michael will always inspire me. Our hearts are fully with our cousins and their families who surrounded Christy with love, dignity and support in his last days on this earth.

We share their sorrow and Christy’s pride in an enormously talented young generation rising up.
