Chris was a thorough gentleman who I always admired, a wonderful neighbour and friend. Not having as much contact with Chris as before in the last couple of years due to time being spent taking care of my widowed Mam played on my mind. Chris was a very special, very decent man who I was blessed to have spent time with. As Chris used to say and I have often quoted “born in the year that Hitler came to power”. Rest in peace Chris ! Ní bheidh do leithéid arís ann.

Dear Michael, John and Carl,

We wish to offer you our sincere sympathy on the death of your dear father Chris. Through his entire life he was always a gentleman. May he rest in peace.

We remember, very fondly , you all coming here to visit, it must be over 30 years ago. Jackie and I are still living in " Greenridge", Ballea Road, Carrigaline. We have two daughters, Georgina and Louise and three grandchildren living in Carrigaline. Gillian is living Australia and has one son Matthew. Helen is living in Belfast with a son Sean and daughter Emma and Jacqui is living in London with two daughters Rosie and Harriet.

Jackie and I are still rattling around in our 5 bedroomed bungalow and you and members of your family would be most welcome anytime.
