I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Christy on his recent passing RIP . He made a very significant contribution to education particularly in his role in Teastas in developing a certification structure from further education and within higher education that led tothe development of FETAC and HETAC.

Christy was such a lovely presence as a colleague from my joining the Dept. of Ed back in the mid-Eighties; always calm, measured, kind. What a lucky family to have had such a Dad for so long!
