Deepest condolences to you on the passing of Chris.
A great character and will miss all our conversations when meeting him on his daily walks.

I am saddened to hear that one of life’s colourful human beings has left us . Chris and myself were assistant managers together in the Doyle Hotel group in the late sixty’s and enjoyed ourselves while working extremely hard . I will always remember our sailing trips in Dublin Bay after work and following the snow to Austria on holiday one year.

May Chris’s gentle soul now rest in peace.

So so very sorry to hear just last night of Chris's passing. My very deepest sympathy to John, Thrish and the wider
family....Chris was a wonderful colourful kind and caring person. I worked with Chris for a good few years in the Tara Tower Hotel and we had such a great time working and socialising together with our other work colleagues.
Chris will be very sadly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him....

It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to know and love Christopher. For five years, walking the Camino de Santiago, Christopher was our driver, organiser, historian, seeker out of treasures. It was such a joy, a privilege, a series of magical experiences, all the while wrapped up in Christopher's care and love. Forever after he called me 'Miss Santiago', which I adore. Christopher was a young soul, a young spirit bringing joy to all he met. He was a person of high intellect and deliciously, outrageous low wit. He lived life fully and found beauty in the smallest detail of a flower, as well as the greatest works of art, he found it in the people he loved. I am finding it so hard to envision this world without him, but I must try to honour him by embracing the simple and complex beauty of life.

All I think of when I think of Chris is love and joy and divilment and strength and back to love. I hear his voice and find it hard to believe he’s gone. So so sorry to hear of Chris’s passing. My last chat with Chris was at the Turner exhibition in the National Gallery in January. I remember Chris as a kind person with unerring wit, always ready with a quip and a wicked sense of humour. Wishing you all strength and courage during this difficult time.
