Christopher Ernest (Chris) WOOD

I was greatly saddened to learn of Chris' passing. He was a great friend of my parents Kathy and Eoin in Canberra then of myself and my sisters and brothers as we grew up. His good mood and infectuous sense of humour always put us into good form. We shall miss him and our condolences go to all his family

To Jonathan (Woodie), Lynne and family - sincere condolences on the death of Chris. I haven't seen him for a long time, but he used to come down to Mullingar for work and we had great chats and a few laughs. He was a great one

Chris and I worked together in Donnollys in the late 1970’s.

We had great times together.

We were so deeply saddened on hearing the loss of Chris. He was a man full of vivid stories, great advice, laughter and good wishes to last many lifetimes. It is a real loss but my family and I (here in London) will be forever grateful to have known such a true gentleman. Our condolences and prayers to all his family, friends and all who cared and loved him.

On behalf of the CTT Alumni Association, I am sending the condolences of our members to Chris' family. Chris always cherished the time he spent working in CTT and in recent years he was a valued member of our Association's Committee and a keen attender of our events. We will miss him greatly.
