Our little girl Juli (Collins) attended Enable Ireland Sandymount and Christy lit up her life every morning when the happy bus arrived to bring her to school. She was never as happy as being on that bus with Christy. We are forever grateful for his kindness, warmth and generosity. His memory will live on in our house. RIP Christy.

From when I was little I remember Santa coming to O’Sheas at Christmas then when I grew up and came home from New Zealand he was there with huge smile and did Santa for my little boy. Christy decorated the bus for a kids birthday or Halloween and the best was Christmas where he dressed as Santa and all the empty seats would have Christmas characters on them. It was with a deep sorrow that we learnt of the passing of Christy,
Christy was indeed one of life's true gentlemen and in every sense of the word. His ability to tell a story was unique and second to none.
He was always willing to go that extra mile to help anyone in need and he was a friend to all.
Especially in the month of December has he drove with his red jumper and hat give many young children the pleasure of seeing Father Christmas driving and bring the Christmas spirit to many .he was the most gentle of souls and my Nephew Robbie and I were blessed to have known him
