Thinking of Christopher (John) tonight at NCH where he was a regular concert-goer. No doubt, he would have loved the programme of Jennifer Higdon, Strauss and Ravel.

All of us at the National Concert Hall and National Symphony Orchestra Ireland were deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. Many of us knew John well from his regular attendance at the Hall and his deep love & affection for National Symphony Orchestra Ireland who he listened to most Friday evenings from his Green Side Balcony seat.

We extend our deepest sympathies to his family & friends at this very sad time.
