My deepest condolences on the passing of such a wonderful man. Christy and Josie welcomed me as one of their own when I first came to visit with Pam in 2010. I enjoyed the simply times in the Ayres home when we would sit around the kitchen table and listen to Christy tell a story or recite a poem. A sing song would eventually start and then came the dancing in the kitchen. He became a second father to me as my own father passed away in 2006. One of my fondest memories of Christy was us travelling home after Josie's birthday party. Christy and I where in the back seat and we were surprised that someone was following us so close that their lights were shining in the car. Christy kept saying why don't they pass us. To our amazement as we pulled into the driveway at the house the car followed. But it wasn't a car. The boot had been ajar the whole time driving home and we didn't notice. We all fell into the house laughing. I call Ireland home even though I grew up in Canada and that is because of the Ayres Family. I am heartbroken for you all but so glad that you were all together. Remember that he loved you from the deepest part of his heart. You are one of kind Christy Ayres, rest in peace and God bless.
Sincere condolences on the loss of Kit. He was a lovely man. Rest in peace x
