Our club offers our deepest condolences to Kits family.He was a devoted family man an esteemed work colleague a soft-spoken gentleman and a treasurered Ballyteague man .He was hugely influential in the progress of our club as a player he was on the team of 1962 a historic first ever championship success. He served the club in many capacities as chairman Secretary treasurer Team manager selector Committee member he was instrumental in the development of our grounds from being a guest in a farmers field to the facilities that we have today. A lifelong supporter even in latter years despite ill health going to matches in the field brought a smile to his face supporting the larks and Na Fianna ladies. He was a great gael and a great Ballyteague man may the light of heaven shine on his gentle soul
