So sorry to hear on your loss Claire and family. I met Chris 60 years in Zambia and kept in contact over the years. He was Godfather to my youngest daughter Ginni. Chris was a great chap with a wicked sense of humour and had a kind and understanding nature. Viv my wife died a few months ago so my special thoughts are with you at this time Claire.

I am very sad to learn of Chris’ death. He was simply a lovely man. He exuded a sense of gentleness though equally had plenty of bottle if an issue had to be addressed. He was the kind of person that every community needs and sorely misses when he’s gone. Condolences to his family.
