Fred, Pat, Derek and the extended Rogers family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such an immense loss to lose a parent. Your mam & dad were such a big part of our lives on Cedarwood Road and terrific friends to my mam & dad and the Carey family. It's so sad to think that they are all gone now. The end of an era. May their beautiful, gentle souls rest in eternal peace.

I am so very sorry to read today of your beloved Dad Chris's passing.
My deepest, sincerest and heartfelt condolences to you, your families and all the extension Roger's family at this very sad time.
For a time until we all moved on I was your family GP. In that role I got to know your Dad very well as I did your beautiful Mam Carmel. They were not just patients, they were also good friends. Chris was one of the kindest and most caring people that I ever knew, devoted and dedicated to all of you. He was also always very proud of you and your achievements. The last time I met him was some years ago at the polling station in Blanchardstown. We might have been on the opposing side of the political fence but we sat outside in the hall and had a nice long chat. His whole conversation was about his amazing grandchildren and how proud he was of them.
The loss of a cherished Dad and Grandad leaves a great void in your lives, one that can never be filled. However what you do have are all the happy memories and they never fade. Be comforted in the fact that he is now reunited with his beloved Carmel, the light of his life.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace
