Fondly remembered as our neighbour in Girley many years ago.

Christy has been our friend for 52 years!! During that time , and with Mary by his side, we attended each other’s weddings and celebrated the joys as our respective children arrived. Baptism ( Mary & Christy – godparents to our Orla), First Communion, Confirmation and Christmases were occasions when great grub was consumed in the Reilly or Dormer houses. Christy, the master craftsman, extended our house , fixed the roof in all weathers, along with many a roof in Gaeltacht Park.. Christy worked hard in Roadstone, in his Sword Tile shop and in Iveragh Construction where he mentored up to 20 employees, maintained the Dental Hospital and operated to very high standards.
We golfed and snookered together up to very recent years. We slagged to our hearts content. So many happy memories!
A proud Meath man, and a Rock! Paul , Yvonne & Triona- be proud of a great Dad!
