Christy Clendennen

Christy is someone who I know will be missed by so many. His kindness, honesty and scampish good humour meant that he was loved and respected by many. He was well ahead of his time when it came to his photography, and his talent, creativity and keen eye meant that he was always in demand, even after retirement. It is from him that my interest and passion for photography was first ignited – one of the many gifts that he gave me. I will miss Christy greatly, and the hole he leaves will never be filled. I say simply – thank you to him, for everything.

We were immensely saddened to hear of Christy s death. We send our sincerest condolences to all his family.
He took all our children s First Communion, Confirmation and 21 st photographs. Christy’s work was first class and we were extremely happy with his photographs.
He was a gentleman and always had a roguish smile. It was a pleasure to do business with him.

In 1997, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Christy on our Bachelor Farmers’ Calendar of County Kerry. Not only was Christy a wonderful photographer but his talent helped us fulfill our creative vision of bringing attention to the plight of the family farm. We have always remembered our time with him fondly and send our condolences to his family.
