I was informed of the passing of Christy last weekend, Christy and I worked on a farm many many moons ago and left a lasting impression on me. He was man with simple and pleasant way about him and always had smile and a willing to try attitude. Christy love of nature and simple ways was refreshing and pure…I am sure the gate of heaven were opened for him and I hope he is at peace now… so long Christy my friend RIP..

Our deepest condolences to Christy's relatives and friends. He was such a lovely, positive man with a word and a smile for everyone. We met Christy several times a week over many years when going in and out of Millcourt by the river to visit my Aunt Mary. May Christy Rest in Peace.

My dearest friend in the watergate centre, Christy you and i were like brother and sister we both suffered at the hands of the religious orders,and I told you about the re-address and Jim helped you with your claim and you had a good life and used it well.
You helped me so much with your calm voice and not to look back do as i do take each day as a fresh start, we survived and we are free,not captive anymore. Christy you were wise beyond years and I will miss you so much 💔 and you had great devotion to Our Lady and I'm sure Mary has a great welcome home for you. John enjoyed your company and you will be fondly missed and thought of Geraldine
