Sincere condolences on the loss of your dear father. A gentleman whose kindness and wit is still remembered 30 years later.. Many a Friday afternoon was spent in the Geography room learning about places we could only imagine .. most of us had been no further than the West then if at all.He managed to quietly describe it all in his own gentle manner… without internet or whiteboards but chalk in the hand .Never need for a raised voice , no disruption… Years later I would see him at various Colaiste Bride events .. he always maintained the connection with the school .May you rest in peace Mr.Hayden.. you were right the world was our oyster… but thanks for giving generations of Colaiste Bride girls the heads up before we took our first steps out into new adventures.

Sincere sympathy to all the Hayden family on the death of your Dad. He taught me geography for 4 years and I remember him as a kind man and a very hardworking, conscientious teacher who also had a wonderful dry sense of humour.
