Our hearts were heavy when we heard the saddest of news that Christy had passed away. The last few days leading up to the funeral have shown that Christy brought life and happiness to a huge number of people wherever he found himself. He was larger than life. The send off was truly a celebration of his life. He will not be forgotten.

I only know Christy to see around, in the MDL or in O'Brien's on a Thursday and no matter where or when you saw him, he was having the craic, his sense of humour was immense and people around him were enjoying him. Our sincerest condolences on his passing, he will be sadly missed.

Laois when we were all kids. He used to stay with Charlie Hennessy and his wife. We have the best memories of him that will stay with us forever. He was such a character and everyone loved him.
