Christy was a true Aughnasheelin man and was so proud of his heritage and where he came from like the rest of us. He was a big part of that great Aughnasheelin team we had in the sixties and could always be relied upon to give 100% in that back line to keep out the enemy.
I never heard him moan or complain even when things were not going according to plan.
