Sincere sympathy to the extended Ring and McLellan Families and Christy’s Friends on the sad passing of Christy. Enjoyed his gentle character and great stories. Loved playing hurling together even though we struggled in Junior B and weren’t going to win any All-Irelands, not even an East Cork Junior “A” title like “the uncle” as Christy always referenced when referring to the Great One. May He Rest in Peace.

Dearest Jacqui, we are sending all our love and condolences to you, to your lovely daughters and to all the grandchildren. Christy was a quiet man but could tell a great story and possessed a very quirky sense of humour. He was a magnificent father and grandfather. We remember lots of chats and laughs with him at The Meeting Place many years ago.
