Ciarán Connaughton

So sorry only to hear now of Cousin Ciaran's passing. My sincere condolences to you Marie, and to your children and grandchildren. For the few hours we spent together way back in 2006, I've been left with the lasting impression of Ciaran as such a kind and gentle man. My thoughts and prayers with you, especially during this time of grieving.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Ciaran We knew him from his time in Glenealy where he had a grocery shop always found him very helpful He also had a great interest in the local hurling club and engaged in many fund raising events particularly the pub quiz for which he set the questions To his wife Marie sons Keith and Niall daughter Emer we extend our sincere condolences Ciaran will be greatly missed May his gentle soul rest in peace

I had the privilege of teaching in Clermont for a couple of years at the very start of my career and 40 years later I have such happy memories of Ciarán. He was a thorough gentleman in every sense of the word, always in good humour, very calm and a font of common sense. Leaba i measc na Naomh go raibh aige.
