I have many fond memories of my years as a pupil in Dromclough NS with “the Master”, along with chats later in life when meeting him out walking his greyhounds.

My deepest condolences to Ann and Ciarán's children and family. To me, Ciarán will always be the Master. In my time in Dromclough, with the Master and Ms O Connor at the helm, we were fortunate enough to partake in concerts and learn confidence on the stage, explore historical sites across Ireland on our overnight school tours (the highlight of the school year), take bi-weekly Irish dancing lessons and run (albeit slowly!) in our communal mini-marathons.
Dromclough always felt part of a wider community, brimming with artistic exposure and educational opportunities. I know that a great deal of these opportunities are thanks to the Master. Thank you for your tutelage Master Rohan, and may you rest in peace.
