Cillian, my baby bro, what I wouldn’t give to have you here burning the ear off me and chatting about everything and anything. You were a breath of fresh air and always spoke your truth. Brave, unapologetic and crazy funny. It’s hard to understand how someone so full of life and energy is suddenly no longer here with us where you belong. You were a fantastic brother and watching you be a father was such an honour. You made me proud beyond words. Thank you for all the memories; good, bad and in between, I’ll cherish them all. I will miss you now and always and hope someday, somewhere, we will meet again. Love you forever xxx

Cillian was a childhood best friend of mine , we done everything together every summer he would stay in my house and we played on the same football team . He was treated as one of our own and just like a brother. The news of his passing has left a devastating impact on me but I will use the strength he showed me as a friend and as a player. I only got to know Cillian over the summer from going to Kytelers with my friends who knew him- but I feel privileged to have got to spend time with him. He was truly one of a kind, he always went above and beyond for us and always made an effort to spend time with us no matter how busy he was, he was so much more than a barman/waiter and Kytelers will not be the same without him. I’m so grateful for the time I got to spend in his presence, he will be truly very missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace Cillian 🕊️❤️
