missing you a lot today 😔

So deeply saddened about Claire’s passing.I feel very grateful to have shared so many experiences in Ireland and France with Claire and Heather.

Meeting Claire in college was the beginning of many amazing, fun and exciting adventures.
As we embarked on our trip to France we had no idea what was in store for us, we made the most of what we had and always had fun no matter what.

When Claire met Pascal, the circle of joy got bigger our lives were filled with music, laughter and great food.
I will always remember Claire’s sense of humour, the sparkle in her eyes, her strength and determination, her gentle ways and humility.
I will be forever grateful for the magical times we shared.

Une collègue avec qui j'ai travaillé de nombreuses années, une collègue discrète, à l'écoute et bienveillante très appréciée par toute l'équipe pédagogique, les élèves et leurs parents et qui laissera à tous de beaux souvenirs.
Maeve et Brian ont été mes élèves et mes pensées les plus affectueuses les accompagnent sans oublier Heather pour cette terrible épreuve que représente la perte d'une maman.

I was so saddened to hear of Claire’s passing and want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all her family in France and Ireland.

Although it’s been oa good few years since we last met on one of her trips back to Ireland — sharing a pint in Bakers — hearing the news today brought back so many memories from our time together in Kill O’Grange Venture Scouts. Our group shared some truly wonderful experiences and created memories that have stayed with me ever since.

One that stands out is our cycling trip around the Ring of Kerry (Probably 35 years ago) During a tough climb up Carrauntoohil, Claire took a fall and broke her leg. She had to be rescued off the mountain, but even then, she refused to go home (Which I am sure caused great upset to her parents at home at the time) She stayed on, determined as ever, and completed the rest of the trip riding on the crossbar of our bikes. That moment captured her perfectly — strong, kind, spirited, and always up for the adventure.

Claire was a special person, and I feel very lucky to have known her. She’ll be remembered with great affection by all of us who shared those years with her.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que j'ai appris que Claire a rejoint les Cieux. J'ai eu la grande joie de la connaître et de travailler avec Elle .Ce fut toujours avec un immense plaisir que nous avons échangé. J'emporte Claire dans mon cœur... Un exemple de résilience, de gentillesse, de sérénité, de simplicité et de tolérance. Je pense très fort à ses enfants : Heather, Maeve et Bryan.

My heart is with you during this difficult time. Though I sadly won’t be able to attend the ceremony, I want to leave a few words in honor of Claire’s life.

While I didn’t have the chance to know her deeply, Claire was my aunt, and in the few moments we shared, her warmth and kindness always shone through. She had a radiant smile and a laughter that was truly contagious, qualities that left a lasting impression on me. It was clear she was deeply loved by those who knew her well.

She always greeted me with a kind word, and I now realize how much I wish I had taken the time to know her better. That is something I will carry with me, along with the memory of her gentle spirit.
