Firstly, my apologies for my tardiness in posting this message. I had meant to do it much sooner.

I was truly shocked and saddened to read of Claire's passing. Whilst I didn't know her terribly well, I used to bump into her at Taney School, where my daughter Miriam was in class with Jack and latterly around the local area. I always found her to be a most friendly, pleasant and courteous lady and I will very much miss meeting her. I just wanted to let you know and Jack in particular, that you have been in my thoughts and that you have my very deepest sympathy.

Claire was part of our childhood growing up in Dundrum, along with her lovely parents, Anne and Frank, and her brothers, Joseph and Tony. Her sudden loss is so sad. Thinking of all her family at this terrible time.

I have lovely memories of our childhood friendship in primary school and the kindness, warmth & welcome of Anne, Frank & the Riordan family shown to me & all my family.
Although I rarely saw Claire since our schooldays, I received many proud & happy updates from Anne & Frank. I clearly remember Claire’s absolute joy & radiance at the afters on her Wedding day and also with her young family when our paths crossed at Airfield.
Claire’s precious love for her family will endure and carry you for ever.
