We are very sad to hear of the death of Clára. She was a very big part of our lives from 1985 to 1995 on Inis Mór. A regular visitor to our house ‘An Charraig’ she often joined us for dinner and regaled us for the afternoon with her stories and opinions. She was much loved by us as a unique and extraordinary person with a great heart and an active mind. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís. Suaimhneas síoraí di.

Sincere condolences to Eilis and all of Clára's family and friends. I had the privilege of meeting Clára a few times in Crossabeg. Clára was a delightful lady who lived a wonderful life and I know she will be missed by all who loved her. Rest in eternal peace a Chlára.
