So sad to hear of Clare’s passing thinking of all the Carruthers family and Clare’s dear friends at this time. May she rest in peace .
My deepest thoughts and condolences are with Clare's family and friends. It was so sad to hear the news about Clare's passing. I have so many lovely memories from her days in Drogheda and then being warmly welcomed by her family when visiting her home in Clontarf, just around the corner from my own foster family. She was always so warm, cheerful, kind and caring. She gave me courage to face the world with positivity at a critical time in my life. Sorry I am unable to be with you all at the funeral in Ireland. Love Conrad

Streetline have said goodbye to our most valued person. Known as Aunty Clare she journeyed and helped rear the now young men whom she always referred to as ‘my boys’. Clare lived, guided and supported her boys and old friends whom she worked alongside for 25 plus years with great love, positivity and hope.
Clare will not be forgotten as she taught us so much over these years., she will always remain part of us.
Our condolences to her wider family, sister’s and brother, nieces and nephews of whom she was so proud. Clare had an endless capacity to love and be loved.

Sincere condolences to Teresa and all the Carruthers family on Clares sad passing. Fondly remembering all the good times in Seafield Road and Clares sense of humour and fun nature.
My sincere sympathies to all Clare's family and many, many friends. Clare was Clare without an "I" as all those who knew and loved her knew - always thinking of others no "I" anywhere to be seen. Thanks to Clare, over the last 6 or so years, I had the privilege of getting to know her "Aftercare boys" (now men) - and want to say that, although she didn't have any biological children, she did have children - at least 10 of them, and she was so proud of the men they had become. Personally, I was very touched the way they came together as a family when they found out how ill Clare was - that is Clare's legacy - one that will never be forgotten - "AfterClare" forever! 💜
My deepest condolences to clares family on your loss of such a special person. It was an honor to have know and worked alongside clare. Rest in eternal peace until we meet again clare.
