My deepest sympathies on the passing of beautiful Clare. We have so many fond memories growing up of our wonderful next door neighbours Clare & Alan.
Popping her head over the wall and always greeting you with her gorgeous smile and glowing skin. Calling in for all the chats, a cuppa, and the chocolate bars she’d always have on stand by for us, not to mention the Christmas treats and drinks. Playing with Rua and going for walks, while telling us the most amazing stories along the way. A clever, warm lady, that had a field of knowledge. How fortunate we were to have such wonderful childhood memories back home, with our wonderful neighbour and friend for over 40 years, which I’ll always cherish. Mum & Dad, (Ros & Gerry) will miss her greatly.

We’ll keep her in our prayers and look back fondly on all the treasured memories. Thanks to Joanne & all the family for the wonderful hospitality today, it was so lovely to see you all and share stories. Rest in peace Clare, you’ll be in our thoughts and prayers always. ❤️🕊

My Sincere sympathy to the Keenan and Daffy family . I remember her visits to Abbeyleix when I was a small child. She was the life and soul of the party when she arrived in our small town.
Every bachelor in the town set his eyes on Claire. She was full of fun and laughter and my mother Myra and father Paddy loved her visits .

To all the Keenan, Ryan, Kenny and Daffy family and extended family of our treasure Claire. She was the life and soul of so many landmark occasions, reuions, celebrations, weddings and funerals throughout her life. She was always available for us all. So kind and supportive when Uncle Willie and Uncle Jerome were coming to the end of their journeys on earth. She loved her dog and allowed me to mind him in Kilfeacle which was a privilege. She is probably up there with my Mam Phil reminiscing her holidays in Kilfeacle and the races in the Junction. She's no doubt discussing Fianna Fail with Uncle Willie. I am so sad to have not seen her in recent years. Always loved and cherished in our hearts. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family and friends.
