I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Clare's death.

We worked together at Diageo, we could both chat for Ireland but still managed to get the work done!

I was so saddened to hear of Clare's passing yesterday. Clare was such a lovely, kind, bubbly person and always made time for a chat. We have fond memories when we met you, Clare and the boys in Monte Santo many years ago. I can remember Clare wearing the highest wedges negotiating the cobbled streets of Carvoeiro.. to be fair, it was no bother to her, she was a pro in the heels!

I am so so sorry Paddy. my deepest condolences to you and your boys and all the of O’FLynn family members. I have such fond memories of my sisters and I and The O’flynn sisters Barbara, Clare and Laura playing together with Martina Siobhan and myself as young ones in woodlands, along with the McGuinness girls and many others in the estate too.
It’s so hard to comprehend why and how such sadness and shock can hit a family when you least expect.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Clare’s illness and premature passing. We met in Portugal and soon realised our mutual friendships. Myself and Clare enjoyed some lovely cliff walks and plenty of non stop chats. She was beautiful both inside and out and I’ll remember her for her love of high heels while the rest of us wore flip flops. Condolences to you Paddy, and the boys, RIP Clare x

Deeply saddened & shocked at Clare’s recent passing. I met Clare 19 years ago when we moved to Portmarnock and I knew no one, Clare was a welcomed friend. We had both just had our gorgeous boys and used to compare notes, I looked forward to our tennis lessons and Friday lunches where she would update me on her latest shoe purchase, upcoming holiday or some other adventure she had planned. Her energy, vitality and zest for life will be very sadly missed.

I had the pleasure of sitting in the same office at times with the ever smiling Clare in 98 James Street in Diageo and we had many conversations on fashion, family and sun holidays. Her towering heels were always top of our conversations and she wore each pair of them with pride. She will be sorely missed here in Diageo as she always lit up the room when she was here.
