I am so sorry to hear of cousin Clare's passing.

Dara, Orna, Donagh, Caoimhe, and all the family, I know there will be sorrow and loss, how could there not be when such a lovely, gentle and funny women passes. I will always remember the twinkle in her eyes and the fun when we looked over old photos together recently. She was magical.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Clare's passing and my heart goes out to all the family at this time.

Dara, Orna, Donagh, Caoimhe, and all the family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Clare. I am thinking of the words of Sr Frances, friend of Clare, Bernie, and Brenda, which comforted me so much in the past: "the love of the parent for the child can never be broken". I hope that over the time ahead, happier memories without the shadow of illness will return to the forefront for you all, and bring comfort and a smile.

I will forever treasure the memories of Aunty Clare's endless kindness and generosity, her compassion, and quiet understanding. The sort of aunt who brought you to the Library and then bought you a 99 (as she did for me!). Latterly, she was not only a dear aunt but a dear friend whose age was irrelevant in our chats. I will think of her very often, but for now I am thinking of you all and sending love for the days and weeks ahead.

Clare's Mum and my Mum were good friends in Muirhevna, Dundalk many years ago and l was also a friend of her brother Imor.
