I was very sorry to read of Clare’s passing.

I must say that I laughed when Conor mentioned in his eulogy that Clare was unafraid of mice, as it brought to mind one particular day when a mouse took up residence in the office. Brian and I decided that discretion was the better part of valour, that is, we stood on our chairs with our trousers tucked into our socks while braver souls dealt with the drama. Clare was not impressed!

Dear Niamh, Conor and Brian, we were deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the death of your much loved Mum, may Clare’s gentle soul rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to you all and her grandchildren and her precious greatgranddaughter, Mira, also her sister and all the in-laws and extended Family. Clare was a true lady and always made you feel so welcome to her home. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Cyril, whom I am sure was waiting with open arms at the Pearly Gates.
